FIRST FRIDAYS IN DOWNTOWN GOSHEN

On the First Friday of every month - throughout the year - businesses, artists, and entertainers throw a party in downtown Goshen. Hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, July 3
Vintage Moped Rally, a Motorcycle Rally and Cruisin’ Goshen Reunion!
Come downtown for Goshen’s Wheels and Deals July First Fridays.
Vintage Moped Rally
Vintage moped owners cruise into town and compete for “Best in Show”, as a vintage moped rally kicks off on Friday night. Mopeds will be parked on West Washington Street. The rally continues on Saturday, as 30-40 riders travel from Motion Left Mopeds in Elkhart to Krider’s Worlds Fair Gardens in Middlebury and end up back in Goshen at Roger’s Park for a cookout and fireworks. Register on their site.
Motorbike Fun Run
Motorcyclists can sign-up at Cycle Works of Goshen, 1210 E. Lincoln Ave., starting at 4 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per person (proceeds going to Goshen Parks Department’s children’s programs). Ride (rain or shine) leaves at 6:30 p.m. sharp and will end downtown, where bikes will park on East Washington Street.
Cruisin’ Goshen Reunion
A four-wheeled cruise in will start at the Dairy Queen on U.S. 33 South around 5 p.m. The cruise will be a reunion of sorts for those who used to cruise the Goshen strip. Participants are invited to cruise as long as they like and then can park downtown. See a map of the route.
The Goshen Historical Society Museum will again have a classic car on display in front of the museum.
FOOD SPECIALS
Among the many delicious food offerings downtown, Bosco’s Place parking lot (117 S. 5th Street), will host Goshen Firefighters Local 1443 selling Pulled Pork BBQ meals, proceeds going to local charities. The Republican Party will offer hot dogs, brats, chips and cold drinks for sale.
On Washington Street, Fritz Miller of Fish Lake Organic Berry Patches will be selling fresh berries and jams and The Wiener’s Circle will have their hot dog cart ready for you.
